I have decided to run the Rob Burrows Marathon in memory of my beautiful best friend and sister In Law Sarah Ellen Mary Jackson. In August 2023 Sarah unexpectedly and shockingly lost her life to a catastrophic brian bleed. She was an amazing wife, Mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to so many. All our hearts are broken. That summer I watched the town of Otley giving a huge outporuing of love to our amazing Sarah and the love and support given to us all was so heart warming and admiring.

Sarahs brother (my husband Tom) set up the Sarah Jackson Community Wish, to keep his sister name shining in the community as she gave so much of her time and efforts helping others . We now have a full committee of family and friends running our fundraising platform with the mission to raise funds to give back to the Otley community, whether that be a club, society, family or individual.
