Story
I am raising money to open a non-profit music youth club in the Netherton area ,Ran by a team of paid and voluntary staff for young people regardless of personal or financial circumstances.
Since i returned to Liverpool it has been a dream of mine to open a music youth club in the area i grew up in.
I had so much passion for music but back then we didnt have any club's or music lesson's available to us on the council estate.
I am a self taught musician and proud of that because it has made me appreciate and work even harder to achieve my goal's ( Even through ill health and raising a family on my own )to gain professional skill's and learn valuable life lesson's that i can pass on to young people .
Iam so happy to open this club and give talented youngster's the opportunity's to learn that i never had growing up .
As a team of skilled musician's and tutor''s we aim to develop the social, musical , Spiritual and emotional skill's of the children and youth's through music and personal development .
With the rise in gun and knife and poverty in and around the area ,Our young people need centre's like the L30 , who work hard in the community to make it a better place for our young people to grow up in and rely on donation's to offer a range of services to it's user's like me who want to start up a community project .
Although i will receive funding for some of the equipment , I will rely on donation's and fund raising event's to continuously cover the cost's of running the center, any equipment we may need , and hire professional tutor's we will need to hire beside's our voluntary staff.
We also need donation's of any old musical equipment (Even if that is a guitar we can fix up for the children to take home and practice on ,Please get in touch with us as we will put all donated equipment to good use .
Thank you for your support and i cant wait to share our journey with you
