Story

Lady Eléonore Le Purr was born outside just over a year ago. In first months of her life she didn’t have a home, she didn’t have a name but what she had was a belly full of kittens. She gave birth in an empty shed, her kittens were taken to a local shelter but she was left behind. For a year she was being fed by a kind woman who sadly passed away this January. Lady E once again found herself without food, but with belly full of kittens and ears full of mites. We’ve managed to trap her and rushed her to a vet where we found out that she’s due any day now, maybe even the same night. It took us a while to gain her trust and to establish a good quality diet that will deliver much needed nutrients to her and her babies. Lady E gave birth to five beautiful kittens on the 18th of February but that wasn’t the end of her troubles. At only three days old one of her kittens started deteriorating quickly, we’ve rushed to emergency vet where we found out that the kitten suffered from the fading kitten syndrome, the vet tried to save him but in the end the kindest thing to do was to end his suffering. Lady E has severe case of ear mites infestation that caused bacterial ear infection, the treatment isn‘t easy nor cheap and now kittes are effected as well. We are asking for support for ongoing care for Lady E and her kittens. We are two volunteers who are trying to save as many cats as possible in North West London from cruel life outside. So far we helped nearly 50 cats in NW2 and NW10 area, most of them were abandoned pets and sick ferals.
