Story
Lady Manners School is a secondary school in Bakewell, Derbyshire with more than 1,300 students. In October 2018, our highly respected Head of Physics, Mrs Sinnott, very sadly passed away. Mrs Sinnott was passionate about physics and helping her students to embrace the world of physics.
Throughout her time at Lady Manners School she worked to improve the science laboratories at school. We want to continue her work by fully refurbishing one more of our laboratories.
The school is working, together with the Lady Manners School Parents' Association, to raise the money necessary to put Mrs Sinnott's wishes into action. Please help us to achieve our goal.

5 years agoWow! Our JustGiving page has just topped £1,000! Thank you so much to those who have donated using this method – you have moved us closer to our goal of refurbishing the lab to enhance our students’ science education. We'd also like to thank those who have sent us donations by other methods, and to the Parents' Association who are working hard to increase their existing £10,000 donation. News will follow of other initiatives to raise money for this excellent initiative.

A great cause but I’m also sad that such important educational facilities have to be funded by charitable donations. Well done for your donations so far.
