Story

Lady here I'm a retired Military Working Dog and I would like to raise some money for the hoomans who have kept a watchful eye on me during my working days and retirement. They are called Hero Paws and what hero's they are!

I am going to do a challenge starting Christmas Day by doing the Three Peaks! This will be Mount Snowdon (with a lake crossing) an overnight camp in a basher with my best friends then up Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan. All this in two days and one nigh,. I am training and gaining some weight to prep for this challenge which for me this is very tough I am 6 and have been worked very hard over the years I wanted to do something to show my love for the Hero Paws family and hopefully raise them some money.

I am trained in all sorts of special detection and protection because of this its really hard for me on normal walks and with noises at home. I haven't had the best time over the passed few years but thanks to Hero Paws I have a lovely home with my best friends. Hero Paws gave my new best friends lots of food, they help with extra training for me as I am a special dog, I was very stressed and needed surgery on my jaw a while ago I had the best treatment and Hero Paws paid for all of it and so many other dog's care too.

There are so many dogs like me that have worked so hard and been out to combat zones and kept so many soldiers and civilians safe. When we retire we don't really have places to go. Hero Paws saves so many dogs like me they rehabilitate us and help finds us new homes so we can relax, have cuddles and bacon samiches like a normal dog would. They need help to do this they are not a big popular charity the dream for them would be to have their own kennels where dogs can relax and get all the care they need before coming into new homes.

Please if you can spare a couple of pounds it would make such a difference.
