This is Lady. She is our beloved dog. At 8 months we rescued Lady from less than unfortunate circumstances. We were only meant to have Lady for a week while she looked for a new home. A week turned into a month, a month into a year and 3 years later she is our treasured puppy, who we love dearly.

Probably because of poor breeding she sadly suffers from DJD (degenerative joint disease). During the 3 years we have had Lady, she has had both front elbows operated on due to dysplasia and TPLO surgery on her knee to repair a cruciate tear. Last week she had to have another surgery due to a torn meniscus on her surgery leg.

As she was diagnosed with DJD early in her life, insurance will not cover her limbs. We are looking to raise enough money to cover her recent surgery and future ones. She will need her other back leg operated on to repair that cruciate. Also going forward she will need supplementary therapies (hydro and laser) to ensure she has the best chance of a good recovery.
