Story
Dear Friends and Family,
As you may know Pj and I created the Kindness is Cool Foundation three years ago, in memory of our mother Adetoun Adesunloye. Inspired by her generosity, deep compassion for people and commitment to service, and with your help over the last few years, we have put on catered fun days for orphaned children, we have delivered food and medical supplies to the disabled and homeless and we have also raised over $9000 to bring clean water to villages in places like Sierra Leone, Mozambique and other parts of Africa.
This year we face an unprecedented situation. Some of us are lucky enough to have the reserves or resources to see us through, but many are not. In Lagos, the lockdown of three weeks has resulted in a desperate and critical situation for hundreds of thousands of people across the state. Therefore as a Foundation we are compelled to make emergency food aid our mission this year.
We ask that you join us, reach deep into your hearts and support us to provide relief to the people whose lives have been upended by Covid-19. From the elderly, to the youngest, and the most vulnerable.
The Kindness is Cool Foundation will put your donation to the purchase of rice, beans and packed food with N5000 (£10) able to provide food for 2 people for a week. And On the 28th April we will distribute the supplies your donations have generously enabled.
We cannot do it alone, we cannot do it forever but with your help for the next week or so, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands.
Please join us in the spirit of kindness and active compassion.
Love,
Pj and Mik
