'Take PRIDE in your CV, Charity Bake Sale' - Mon 19th June, 10am - 3pm, LUMS Hub (outside Meeting Rooms 5 & 6)
Lancashire LGBT supports a number of groups and activities across Lancashire providing a diverse range of opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to connect, improve physical and mental wellbeing and reduce social isolation. The charity's mission is to support all LGBTQ+ people in Lancashire to feel safe and feel a sense of pride and belonging.
Lancaster University LGBTQIA+ Ally Network and Lancaster University Management School Careers team are raising money for this brilliant charity during Pride 2023 through an organised event on Monday 19th June 2023, with a 'Take PRIDE in your CV, Charity Bake Sale'. Staff, students, friends and families are welcome to bring along their CV for a quick review from our friendly careers team for a charitable donation, as well as the opportunity to purchase a delicious baked treat. We will be accepting cash donations on the day, in addition to this link.
For more information about this fantastic cause, Lancashire LGBT website provides further details of support groups, volunteering, counselling, outreach, events and an Information and Support Helpline - https://lancslgbt.org.uk/
