The Lander4Uganda Rickshaw Challenge!

We will do this by collectively cycling the distance we will travel whilst in Uganda, on exercise bikes in the corridors of Richard Lander School! This distance is Entebbe - Masaka - Kampala - Murchison Falls = 530km/329 miles! We are asking you to sponsor us!

Lander4Uganda is a group of Richard Lander School students and staff fundraising to improve the lives of children in their African partner schools. We are raising funds to support students and families in rural Ugandan villages, through our long-standing partnership with the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir schools in Kamuzinda and Bunjakko. Our goal is to make a lasting, direct impact by improving education, facilities, and living conditions in communities facing poverty.

This unique project also provides students from Richard Lander School with a life-changing cultural exchange. As part of the Lander4Uganda initiative, our students gain real-world experience in teaching, construction, fundraising, and managing donations – all while building friendships and learning from another culture.

Every penny raised goes straight to the people who need it most, with our team overseeing every step of the distribution process. In July 2025, we’ll travel to Uganda to complete projects like building dormitories, improving classrooms, hosting events, and distributing essential items. With your support, we can keep making a meaningful difference – together!
