For the many who I know who work in education, it will come as no surprise that our staff room discussions are often based around funding, or the lack of.

I am fortunate to spend every day in the wonderful little school that is Lapford Community Primary School and here, the team, want the very best for the children. Over the years, our community, staff, parents and children have given up hours of time to fundraise, paint, build and improve the school and our mission is not yet finished. Our focus is to have a wonderful outside learning environment and our recent addition being a wooden outside classroom, which will be used to enjoy outside learning and have a direct link to our forest school area.

I figured for people to donate again, I would need to do something! So... I have entered the Cardiff half marathon and would welcome any sponsorship to keep me going. Who knows, I may even be dressed in a certain attire...

Please, friends and family, as little as £5 sponsorship will soon add up and help a small, rural school of children in Devon have a wonderful time at school.
