Calling businesses to help our young people.

Paul Donno our Director was a pupil at Castle Manor school and remembers his first computer being a long roll of paper and daisy wheel printer that communicated with a university. The progression to the computer room where he learnt BASIC programming was great fun and he was lucky enough to get a ZX81 with 16k ram pack for Christmas with Horace goes skiing!

Now Paul runs 1 Accounts Online Ltd a specialist online accounting business that relies on technology and up to date software and techniques to support businesses in Haverhill and across the UK.

Without the introduction to computing at Castle Manor Paul would not have had the foundations to bring that passion to his business that employs 11 people 4 of which are ex Castle Manor students.

The future of our businesses and town is within our students and some do not have the means to have a computer at home, work remotely and will be loosing out on valuable learning time which is so unfair in this pandemic.

Paul is asking business owners that are working well during this time to help fund 20 Laptops to support students and families during this difficult time by donating to the 1 Accounts Just Giving page and every penny raised will go towards our investment in the future of our town.
