Story
The Story so far
At the end of April this year I was diagnosed with T3 cancer of the oesophagus which has also spread to my liver, bowels, lower lumber and some lymph nodes.๐
I am now under Chemo treatment at The Royal Marsden and was admitted to the Whittington Hospital on 4th August with fatigue, fever , low blood pressure and a mysterious viral infection.๐
I'll be out soon! ๐ As I am responding well to treatment ! ๐Thanks God, thanks nurses and doctors. God bless you all. ๐
Thankfully my white blood cells have not depleted but are miraculously high. They are a mighty Army. My body is fighting! ๐
This is going to be the second big battle of my life and, as with the first, I will use God, the fellowship of my brothers and sisters on the road less travelled, my friends, my networks and my Church family to help me fight this war. ๐
Of course, I will also do my part but this is more powerful than me. ๐
I give thanks to God for NHS England as the the medical costs are covered but I am now looking for help with my living and recovery costs. ๐
As some of you will know, I have recently become separated from my wife and I am self employerd but have had to put my work on hold in order to get back to perfect health and from one day to the next I don't know if I will crash or not but I am still trying my best to earn. Please God help me. ๐
I am strong and whole mentally and spiritually, but my weight has crashed to 7.5 stone and I have been having difficulties eating solids so I am blessing and working with the NHS dieticians and I have taken food over the first day in hospital. ๐
In all of this I have a goal to bring light, love, a great testimony and God's peace to all whom I encounter on this journey. ๐
I will need financial help over the next 6 months to cover additional needs including a new whole foods diet, travel, rent , home heath monitoring equipment and bills. ๐
Thanks to all who can offer your love and financial support. Only supporting each other, God's power and Love is real.๐
TREATMENT UPDATE AUGUST 2017
Having been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in April 2017 I initially opted for a private homeopathic/nutritional raw food and juice treatment regime.
Now, whilst a great system cleanse, it also wiped my weight out down to 7.5 stone! So, I ran back to the Royal Marsden screaming CHEMO and the after effects of the first cycle almost killed me!
Seriously! I ended up in the Whittington Hospital via A&E twice for two weeks in total and on the second visit I experienced gastric pain so bad that the Consultant Doctor decided the only solution for me was to have me checked into a dying hospice for the very next day!
However, rejoice with me now for at that low point of extreme pain I called on the name of the Lord Jesus, no, I screamed it from the deepest innermost part of my soul for him to come and save me so that they could do the CET scan as I couldn't even bear to lie down, and behold he came to say in an inner ear whisper " I have told you, โFear not, for I am with you. I have already told you that I will never leave you nor forsake you and that Lo, I am with you even unto to the end of ages. Did I not give you that personal audible prophecy some 18 ago that, " Tell the people that I am coming, in power, by my Holy Spirit, and in all my glory and that when I do come, I will be right on time!".
When he had reminded me of this he then commanded me in a soft yet stern voice to "Be still!!!". The scan staff then completed their work, and I was then wheeled back to my room, in pain but calm, where Fiona, my first wife, was waiting (she has been my rock through all this). I asked her to draw the blinds, switch off the lights, do not speak or touch me but just be there. I then fell asleep.
During the night, I was visited by the Head of Oncology and the Head of Macmillan Nursing. They were woman and appeared to me angelic. The Oncologist looked me deeply in the eyes and told me she was going to fix me up, sort out the pain and get me eating again.
She then, totally unilaterally and without reference to the duty doctors or the Royal Marsden, changed my treatment plan and nurses came later during the night with morphine, steroids and all manner of other drugs and the next morning I awoke a new man, pain free, eating breakfast glowing like Moses glowed when he came down from an audience with God.
The Christian nurses and I had a mini praise and worship party in my room. The consultant doctor on my ward cancelled the hospice for he too could she the dramatic change that had occurred and after a week of eating and devising a pain management program I am back on the outside and getting stronger and fatter every day. (I am eating for England!!!)
Before I left the hospital, God led me to this other word of scripture: โSurely, I will not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. The LORD hath chastened and corrected me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.โ
God continues to give me the strength of faith to hold onto this piece of scripture as pertaining to me right and right now!
i hadhad a round of new Chemo two weeks ago, they thought that repeating the first and maybe killing me was not a good advert for them, and so far, so good, no adverse side effects and I am waxing strong in the Lord and the power of his strength and do not feel ill at all!
So, I hope that the story so far lifts you because it sure has lifted me.! Amen!
TREATMENT UPDATE DECEMBER 2017
i am writing to you rom the Roal Marsden Hospital where I was admitted to on 31st November and I prayer that your Christmas goose, or whatever it is, is getting fat!
Having had a very favourable Chemo report in October I have had a bit of a setback in December.
I turned up for routine tests ahaed on my December round of Chemo and the doctors discovered that the liver cancer mastastases has become rampant and is now eating my Christmas weight!
Chemo has been put on hold whilst I quietly allow the Lord to fight this battle.
i have head nothing different from God on the subject of my healing since my last miracles except every day in a and gentle way he reminds me that today is not the last day.
I am working on a parallel plan with the care teams for a return to home next week which entails, home palliative care, home equipment, a pain plan, a diet plan and a treatment plan that will get me back strong enough to restart Chemo. this will entail more expenses and an inability to work as much so I am asking for the next push now to the next milestone thank you for any new, increased or continued support at this reflective time on the meaning of Christmas to me as i walk this walk in the restorative healing hand of Christ.
May the Lord continue to bless all friends, family and strangers as they respond to God's call to help me.
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in my heart
Amen

7 years agoHi people As from tomorrow will be at the North London Hospice to carry on the fight with the liver cancer from there. 47 Woodside Avenue, N12 8TF Had a busy day with visitors and went out for a shave. Successful but heed physio and food to get more strength. Spirits riding high though as I wait on more signs as to what Jesus is up to in my life and ministry. Please pray for a smooth early morning transition and bless my feeders. Amen
