I've raised £3000 to raise funds for Kitrinos Healthcare, an NGO committed to providing a COVID-19 crisis care unit at the Moria camp.

This pandemic is a global disruption and unlike anything we have faced before. Whilst we continue to wash our hands, stock up on necessities, and commit to social distancing, in reality, refugees and displaced individuals cannot do the same. The Moria refugee camp in Greece is currently one of the most densely populated refugee camps in the world with 20,000 living in facilities built for 3,000. Social distancing remains impossible as residents have to queue up to 8 hours a day for meals.
Thus, we have decided to start a fundraiser and are thanking you in return with a free Virtual Comedy Show. We will raise funds for Kitrinos Healthcare, a NGO which is entirely staffed by qualified doctors and committed to providing a COVID-19 crisis care unit at the Moria camp. By treating the unwell, and identifying and evacuating the most vulnerable, Kitrinos Healthcare can save lives whilst also ensuring that the camp is as well-equipped as possible. Furthermore, Kitrinos Healthcare will improve the general hygiene facilities at the camp by providing additional toilets (at the moment there is one toilet and tap for every 1,300 people) and public health education aimed at reducing the spread of the virus through clear guidelines.
But these efforts require our help. We at Laugh 4 Change hope to raise funds that will go directly towards helping Kitrinos Healthcare provide this crucial support to Moria during these challenging times.
Come join our Virtual Quiz on July 8th, 7pm (link to show) and please consider donating whatever you can to help those in need.
