Kiki’s Hope for Animals is a small group of friends and volunteers who are organising the rescue and rehoming of animals from Eastern Europe. In the UK, we can offer a lifeline to dogs and cats who otherwise face a horrendous existence on the streets or at a state sponsored kill shelter: a chance to survive, feel safe and be loved and cherished like they deserve.

Kiki’s relies on donations from its followers and adopters to enable them to operate- the cost involved in making poorly animals well, keeping them safe until adoption, preventative treatments (such as flea and worming meds) and nourishing them with good quality food is huge.

All of us have rehomed or would like to re-home a pet through Kiki’s- this incredible organisation saved our dogs and we could not be more grateful! So as a way of offering something back to ensure this good work (and the medical support and care for elderly animals who cannot be rehomed) can continue, we are collectively completing a challenge to raise vital funds.

Throughout September, we will, as a group, be walking the distance from London to Belgrade- the capital of Serbia…1300 miles and aiming to raise £1300. Will you support us to support more animals like ours?

£12 for an animal to be vaccinated

£20 ensures that a rescued dog can have good quality, nutritious food

£30 will buy an old dog who is unable to be rehomed a comfy bed

£50-£60 for a dog to be spayed or neutered

£45 will pay for a dog to live safely until they are able to be adopted

We will be using an app to track our miles and will be posting weekly progress so you can see how close we are to reaching our target of 1300 miles, who knows- if we are super motivated, we might be able to walk the equivalent of the distance back to London!!
