Story

Im working with my local community to landscape our garden so it is suitable for my daughters equipment and accessable for her needs. Unfortunately therapists are unable to fully fund the reasources and groundworks but i have a town full of wonderful people willing to do the work for free for Ronni.

Ronni would benefit from an in the ground trampoline, sensory walls, leveled out ground with safe soft flooring. She would need a seating area that is safe and hardwearing and play equipment that will hold her weight and height. Our garden is of medium size with several different levels which Ronni cannot independently use in either of her wheelchairs or walking frame. There will need to be sheds knocked down and cleared which will come at a cost to fill skips also….

Ronni suffers with CTNBB1 which is a birth chromosone defect, she is 1 out of 300 in the world which has shown she is unlikely to walk independently, Ronni is 14 and loves spending time at home being a typical teenager but adores the outdoors. whilst we loom into the summer this is something that is very much needed for her as Ronni struggles with her social skills and can only handle a limited time in the outside world before it becomes too much for her anxiety and leads to increasing meltdowns. Having her own outside space would be lifechanging for her (and out of her bedroom!)

with CTBNN1 the more movement you give your muscles the more encouragement they recieve and there is less likeliness of regression and halt in their development.

we have been quoted for a renovation and im looking to raise the funds with local charities and organisations also but any funds that could be put towards our end goal would be greatly appreciated!
