Hi There. My name is Laura I have bipolar my condition has had a massive impact on my life and the people around me. After being diagnosed with the condition I was desperate to try and fully understand my condition and meet people with mental health problems to share, discuss and encourage each other through the early stages, to spread positivity and also be a shoulder to cry on. Normal people with real issues. I could not find anything at all that fit this bill. I struggled through myself and I'm pleased to say I can now see light at the end of my tunnel. I want to share my experience with others who have mental health problems to set up and centre in the North East initially with view to taking this nation wide. The centre will provide one to one a group support/ holoistic thetapies/ counselling for free (which is a massive thing, but we need funding to enable to do this) craft work shops, training and education all specific to meet indivuals need who suffer from long term mental health issues. I really hope you can help me reach my goal!!! Any support is greatly appreciated I also undertake a number of fundraising events to move closer to reaching my goal xx
