Therapies Unite is a charitable organisation working with children and adults with disabilities in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

We are so sadly aware of the devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Mexico yesterday (19th September) in which many people have lost their lives and homes and so many people are injured and without basic necessities. Therapies Unite are fundraising to support the local effort in Puerto Vallarta (which was unaffected by the earthquake) to send essential items to the affected areas of Mexico. We have strong connections with DIF Puerto Vallarta (equivalent to social services here in the UK) who are collecting donations locally and then distributing them where they are most needed (eg Mexico City, Puebla, Morelos).Our local Therapies Unite Staff will liase with DIF to ensure we purchase the most needed items locally with the money we raise. This is likely to be essential items for babies and children as well as water, food, medical supplies, blankets etc.

Other than the small percentage taken by Justgiving, the rest of your donation will go directly towards purchasing essential items for the appeal. We do not take any of your money for admin costs. Many thanks for your donation, every donation will greatly help, no matter how small.
