In march this year myself and my husband went through the pain of losing our baby at 18 weeks. Whilst the staff at the maternity unit were amazing there was no private area for us to spend time to grieve other than the maternity ward which was very difficult.The hospital is looking to raise funds to create a bereavement suite where parents can take the time to grieve their loss and spend time with their baby.

Raising funds would help towards this cause and save parents from the pain and suffering by having to spend time in the maternity unit.
The bereavement suite would give them privacy with their baby and time to accept what has happened.

This suite would offer facilities such as counselling to parents who are struggling with their grief In a private secluded area.
