Story

The Salvation Army are a charity who have integrity in everything they do. They have compassion for all people and they offer volunteering opportunities to our most vulnerable members of society giving them feelings of self worth and belonging in their local communities.

Last night mindless thieves broke in to the Salvation Army in Tranent and caused considerable damages to the building exterior as well as stealing money from charity boxes and a safe.

In this current climate with the COVID19 Pandemic, charities are being greatly affected and are not receiving the same funding.

So far local communities have shown great community spirit in pulling together during unprecedented times and therefore my hope is for everyone in the community to pull together once again and raise money to pay for the damages caused last night and the contribute to the money stolen from the safe/cash boxes.

Every little helps, your support will be greatly received and appreciated.

Stay safe everyone and thank you
