Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In March 2019 we lost my big brother, Mark 'Bullheart" Fradgley, who bravely fought sarcoma for 10 years, despite being told that he would live for a maximum of 2.
Mark was an inspiration, refusing to be defined by his illness, offering support to many others. He constantly challenged himself and it was an absolute privilege to be a part of his team.
So in April I am (finally) running the Brighton Marathon in memory of Mark, to raise awareness of sarcoma, which is a relatively rare cancer. This should have taken place in April 2020, but unfortunately the pandemic significantly delayed things. It feels as though this marathon has been a very long time coming.
I never planned to run this on my own, so had originally drafted in a great team to help me get over the finish line on the day. However, for various reasons (injuries, babies, etc) the teamsheet has changed considerably. So, it now feels like even more of a challenge!
Thank you to those who donated originally, but if you haven't yet, please consider donating to help me raise funds for Sarcoma UK. And get down to Brighton on April 10th to chivvy me along if you can...I'll definitely need it!
