A large grass fire in the Staffordshire Moorlands started on 30/06/2018 where more than 40 firefighters have battled with the fire which began between Thorncliffe and Shawfields. As of yesterday firefighters were still monitoring the area and were recognised for their hard work and dedication at Warslow Beer Festival by the community.

It would be brilliant if we could support our local fire station 'Longnor' and help raise funds for any equipment needed or even just treat them to a few drinks/meal?
