Myself, Lara and Tia are fundraising to go on an expedition to Kenya for 4 weeks. In rural Kenya the majority of people live below the poverty line and access to clean water, proper sanitation, health care and education are often very limited or non existent. Our project work depends on the needs of each community and we could be involved in low level construction work, building school desks, painting classrooms or constructing water tanks. Aside from helping the underprivileged communities, we will also be involved in wildlife and environment focused projects from reforesting damaged areas, maintaining wildlife perimeter fences to making elephants deterrents.
