Laura Newcombe, the manager of the A&K Community Hub in Birkenhead, is always going above and beyond to keep our fantastic services running for local people.

From baby groups and the deaf society, to debt advice, computer support, pensioners’ events, job club, healthy eating and budgeting sessions — and so much more — the hub truly supports every age group in our community.

Now Laura is stepping way out of her comfort zone to make sure it all continues…

On Friday 26th June 2026, she’s doing a skydive!
