On August 10th I am taking part in the 5k tough mudder, I thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to help raise some money and awareness for Ollies Army.

Ollie' s Army was founded by Ollie and Amelia parents and family, they are a family from Poynton who are fighting daily for a better life for their two children who have Battens disease.

Battens disease is a fatal genetic disease which damages the cell causing the person to suffer from progressive neurological impairment. Unfortunately, there is no known cure for Battens disease with life expectancy between 6 and 12 years; however we can support Ollie, Amelia and their family to give them help with symptom management, therapy and provide funds towards the ongoing research.
