As many of you know, Ian passed away on the Cardio Thoracic Critical Care ward at UHCW last week.

He had complications from surgery which we could never have imagined would happen. Despite this the nurses, doctors and surgeons fought for his life constantly over 2 weeks and provided the family with support we didn‘t know existed.

The family/relatives room on the ward is in constant use but requires a lot of TLC! Instead of flowers for dads funeral we are asking for any donations no matter how small to ensure families and loved ones have the best enviroment when visiting/staying over at the hospital.

This will never thank the team enough for their care and support but I know it will provide comfort to them too.
