Story

In March 2019 I will trek the Sahara Desert with Global Adventure Challenges UK.
This will be an 18 hour trek ending in a summit of the Chegaga Dunes in Morocco.
I will be doing this to raise funds for the UK's only Endometriosis charity.
Endometriosis is a chronic illness that effects 1 in 10 women in the UK alone.
Caused by the body not shedding what it should with a woman's monthly cycle.. Conditions include agonising and frequent pain, chronic fatigue, inability to work, infertility and not to mention creating lack of confidence and feelings of isolation.
I myself have suffered with the often misunderstood condition since the age of 11 (now 35!)
I can't remember my life without it.
Following surgery in February 2018 I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo (the most severe). After a month of recovery I was diagnosed with pre cancerous cells in the cervix (CIN 3 - again the most severe form) & had further surgery to remove this.
I have met many endo sisters through various support groups all with their own awe inspiring or tragic stories.. Every step of the trek will be for every single one of these amazing women and raising funds for an amazing charity that supports this. Any amount no matter how small really does help xx #endowarrior
