Story

James is a very friendly, kind northern gentleman. He unfortunately became homeless again back in September of 2018 after loosing his home. James does not drink or use drugs he has just had a lot of bad luck.

He has qualifications in painting and decorating and landscape gardening (which is his preference) and he also loves to cook and eat healthy foods.

The realities of homelessness means that James feels very unsafe in the temporary accommodations the councils offer due to the unsavoury characters that often stay in them. He has been witness to far too many upsetting and scary events that no one deserves to be a witness to.

We really want to help James back on his feet starting by ensuring he has accommodation he can feel safe in. Everyone has a right to feel safe.

We are working with James to ensure he has everything he needs to be self sufficient, for a long term solution.

This week that has started with applying for a new birth certificate so he has a form of ID, we will then use this to gain him a new photo ID and therefore allowing him to open a bank account.

The money raised through this page will buy Clothes, shoes, photo ID, hopefully a new Phone allowing him to access the internet to search for jobs and then ultimately to pay for a deposit and the first 2 months rent to help him get started in a new home.

We so appreciate your help and support and James is forever grateful.

Thank you so much for all your donations big and small 💗
