Story
I have decided to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May 2019 for two causes very close to my heart.
The first is in memory of and to help aid in the fight for justice for my beautiful friend Kirsty Maxwell. She was taken from us too soon in circumstances that still remain unclear. You may have seen the TV documentary that was broadcast and will know that Kirsty's family are still searching for answers as to what happened in Benidorm. We desperately want and need to find out what happened and get the justice that Kirsty and her family deserve. I want to raise as much money and awareness as I possibly can to try and help this happen. We all miss her more each day and any help would be greatly appreciated.
The second is Alzheimers Scotland. My Gran had dementia and i would like to do something in her memory and raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.
This is without doubt the hardest challenge I have ever set myself and any donations will help enormously.
Thank you :)
Lauren
