About a month ago, I had the brilliant Beano visit my place of employeement to explain to us a little of what RT Projects do.

They are a local chairty who are helping people who are suffering with mental health issues feel less alone. They are providing not only a place of comfort but an escape for people suffering with poor mental health. RT Projects is a non-profit charity who provide a workshop for people to express their creativeness... using many different forms of art.

As a child in school, isolation was used as a form of punishment and it has often been said that it is a brutal form of torture however, people suffering with poor mental health can often feel very isolated from everyone, not knowing where to turn. RT Projects have a place where people can go, socialise and be around people and altogether feel less alone.

Now down to the fundraising, I’m taking part in a 24 hour ’Run to the Sun‘ which is basically a 24 hour relay race where the relay batton will be ‘live’ for 24 hours on 17th/18th June 2018. Please help RT Project continue the absolutely fantastic job that they’re doing, every single penny goes to the chairty itself and with it being a local chairty (based in Durham) it is massively helping the people of the North East. No matter how small, every little helps.
