Story

Earlier this year, I was contacted by a friend who was urgently looking for someone to sponsor a boy called Khumbo Kamanga. He had just turned 18 years old and had just finished school. Khumbo was unable to start University to study Clinical Medicine as his family did not have the funds to support him.

The cost of his tuition is £1211 (per year) including accomodation, food, examinations, vaccinations, training equipment, medical care and also pay for necessary placement fees.

Nick has already paid £600 towards his tuition so that he can begin school.

We believe that suppoting people like Khumbo is extremely important. Young people in our country have the opportunity to get a free education, free college and university or can get a job using support from school/parents. Many young people in Malawi who are able to get necessary grades are stopped from going onto University as it is just too costly. Everyone has a right to an education, and if they want to be educated they deserve it!

Please help support Khumbo so that one day he can become a doctor/surgeon with any small donation you can make. We aim to raise £3500 over the next few years to cover the cost of all of his fees and this will be paid directly into a the Ekwendeni College of Health Student Accounts.

Thank You,

Lauren and Nick x

Until on 9th, when he wanted to report for classes, but there was no money for him. Right now his friends are in class and by any means, he has to report for classes before 2 weeks from the date of opening schoo

Hoping to hear from you soon.
