My names lauren, i am 17 and currently studying a level 3 in dance at bournemouth and poole college. I also dance at weymouth dance studio where i study ballet, tap and modern. Once i have finished college the dream is to go to a performing arts school, but first i need to go to auditions, unfortunately with auditions being around £50 each i cant afford to audition to many places, slimming my chances of getting in to a school. I would really appreciate any donations as it gets me a step closer to an audition. Its not only the audition fee, living in the south west which means i have to cover travel costs and accomodation.

I have danced since i was 3 and my love for performing has just grown over the years, i have taken part in dance shows, competitions, pantos etc... a few years ago i went to can you dance and was lucky enough to be given a part scholarship to morea performing arts summer school. Since i was given this opportunity i have worked harder than ever to be the best dancer i can be.

About two years ago i was also diagnosed with scoliosis, which means i have two curves in my back since then i have attended strength and flex at my dance studioto help strengthen other musckes so im not using my back so much when dancing, and even though i may have a deformety with my spine in a way i have never danced stronger because i am constantly pushing my self, and trying new things until i get them to the best of my ability.

A few schools i would like to audition for are, Laine theatre arts, Bird college, Performers college, Phil winstons theatrework etc...

My first ever dance teacher has watched me grow and has some words ro help aupport me...

Lauren started Ballet with me at the age of 3 she has always been a dedicated student of mine and has a passion and thirst for Dance.

She deserves this chance to audition and enjoy her journey ahead in the world of Dance.

Watching Lauren perform is always a pleasure her balletic posture is beautiful a student I am very proud of and wish Lauren all the very best with her future.
