I've raised £4000 to support the incredible charity icandance by running the London Marathon 🏃♀️

This April I am planning to run the London Marathon in support of icandance and all the vital work they do. Our youngest daughter, Bea, has been going to icandance since 2019 and last year i became a trustee with the charity. It is a very special place and I’m so grateful to be a part of the icandance community and for all they have done to support Bea in her confidence and expression.
As with many charities at this time, much of the funding icandance has previously relied upon is getting harder to come by, so they really need our support.
With that in mind, dusting off the trainers and marathon gear and hoping the lower back holds up! Wish me luck!

More on icandance…
Icandance supports children and young people with disabilities and their families, providing a creative and therapeutic community. They deliver individual and group dance movement psychotherapy sessions. Outside of the dance sessions, the organisation provides so much more in the community, including youth employment, volunteering and leadership opportunities. It is a beautiful, inclusive community focused on what children and young people can do rather than the can’ts.
