In 2019 i hope to be going to Uganda as part of teams4u, specifically to work with children in the village Kumi. We will work with young girls and boys with lack of education on sex and puberty. Within villages of poverty (such as this one) girls do not even have sanitry pads, we will hand out reusable pads in attempts of tackling this and the girls are also educated on mensturation, teen pregnancy and body image. The boys are given education on AIDS or support is given to children that have lost family members because of it. As part of Teams4u i want to make a difference within the Kumi community, helping kids have the same necessity of knowing and understanding the importannce of hygene when it comes to sex also why and how there bodies will change . In order to do this i need to raise £1600, so a donation of any amount would be greatly appriciated and go towards something extremily important.
