Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
In August 2017, along with a team of 19 other young adults I'll be travelling to Nepal, where I'll hike up the mountains to reach the village of Barpak. Connected through only a small Facebook page, our aim is to help rebuild the buildings that suffered collateral damage during the April 2015 earthquake. We'll be carrying supplies for the school and some tools to help repair the houses, as well as teaching a few lessons and helping the Nepalese children to improve their English.
