Story
Burnley Road Academy School has been devastated by the floods. Every classroom has been affected and covered in mud and sewage. All resources have been lost and the children of Mytholmroyd and the wider area do not have a safe and clean environment to learn. The PTFA (registered charity 1003351) need to raise funds to bring school back to the amazing place it was.

8 years agoThank you to everyone who has donated. After our PTFA meeting this week it has been decided that the money will be spent in recreating the outdoor areas of the school. The children will help to decide what they would like and hopefully this will be ready when they move back.

Please accept this donation to help the recovery efforts after the devastating floods. I am donating to also honour Ralph Speak, a much-loved former teacher (1952) who passed away in Feb 2014.
