Story

In aid of the ‘Sibes and Sled Dogs’ (SASD) dog rescue charity, Lauren and Warwick (and our two dogs!) will be undertaking the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 8th September 2018.

The challenge involves climbing the Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough peaks (part of the Yorkshire Dales) in under 12 hours - 24.5 miles and a total climb of 2153m!

All donations will go to SASD, a charity that rescues and supports the rehoming of sled-dog breeds such as Huskies and Malamutes. The charity is one of many that put everything into giving dogs a second chance; however SASD is particularly special to us.

Without the tireless work of SASD, we wouldn’t have had the privilege of being able to welcome the lovely Boris into our family and give him the home he so desperately needed!

Countless dogs are rehomed or rescued across the UK, with Sled Dog breeds quickly becoming one of the most prevalent. They are a breed which requires hard work, significant perseverance and the patience of a saint! Leading many owners to simply give up and hand them over to a rescue, or worse, abandon them.

All money raised will help SASD ensure they can give as many dogs as possible another chance at a happy life – any size donation would be greatly appreciated!
