Story
Our identical twin girls were born 10 weeks and 1 day early on the 25th August 2018. They were born at QA portsmouth hospital weighing 2lb 13oz and 3lb 1oz and spent 10 days in the NICU before being transferred to the NICU in St Richards chichester hospital. The units helped when our girls had chronic lung disease and anemia. They also supported us when the girls were sent home on oxygen. They spent a further 7 weeks on oxygen and were under the care of an outreach nurse from St Richards the whole time. The care and amazing work the staff at both units do is life saving. So we are raising money for both units by walking from QA hospital in portsmouth to St Richards hospital in chichester. As this was the journey our girls had to do.
