I've raised £1500 to help build housing and schools in Cambodia, for people who deserve an education through Camps International and Camps Foundation

We are fundraising to help local communities to build new schools, housing, nature reserves and also being involved in reforestation projects. In Cambodia, 14% of the population live below the National Poverty line and we will be helping to change this during the summer of 2018 for four weeks. There are approximately 10.3 million people who live in Cambodia and whilst the population grows at an annual rate of 3% this puts more demand on the need to provide agriculture and firewood. Reforestation is vital because there are over 500 species of birds, 120 species of mammals, and 110 species of lizards that make their homes in these forests. Whilst in Cambodia we will be travelling to three different locations to help out with as many projects as we can. We will be experiencing a new culture and spending our time improving the lives of the children, local people and their environment. We will have the opportunity to help teach Cambodian children the English language and also help them to read and write. Given this opportunity we would be very grateful for any support you are able to offer in providing the much needed help these communities deserve.
Thank you
