Last year, more than 80 of our veterans and serving military personnel committed suicide, and it is believed that the majority of these were suffering with PTSD. VUAS are a group of volunteers that are working hard to raise awareness of the problem, aiming to reduce this tragic number.

We would love to raise enough money to send someone on an Immediate Care Practitioners course, run by Icarus, so that this person is then qualified to give help and support to those directly affected by PTSD. If we manage to raise more than the £500 needed for this course, then the rest of the money will go towards raising more awareness of the issue, and helping families suffering with the loss of a loved one because of this awful illness.
