I'm raising £3000 to help to nurture the next generation of the LCSB (a lay-led, ecumenical community inspired by the Gospel and the Rule of St Benedict).

Organised by (LCSB) The Lay Community of St Benedict

Story

The Lay Community of St Benedict (LCSB) is a welcoming, lay-led, intergenerational, and ecumenical community inspired by the Gospel and the wisdom of St Benedict’s Rule.

At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to nurturing the next generation. We believe young people bring fresh energy, creativity, and faith to our Community life, and we want to help them discover the joy of prayer, friendship, and service.

To help make this possible, we need to increase our regular income by just £247 per month—that’s around £3,000 a year. This isn’t simply about meeting financial targets; it’s about creating real opportunities for growth, learning, and connection, ensuring everyone can take part—whatever their financial situation.

Your gift, whatever its size, will make a meaningful difference. It will help us continue to welcome, support, and inspire the young people who are shaping the future of our community.

Thank you for visiting the LCSB JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure. Your details are safe—they’ll never be shared or used for unwanted emails—and your donation goes straight to the Lay Community’s bank account, ensuring your generosity reaches us efficiently and helps where it’s most needed.

Together, let’s help the next generation grow in faith, friendship, and service.
