Layla along with her Buchan Stars team mates is attending The Edinburgh International Cup football tournament in August this year. Each of the girls have to individually raise £200 each to help cover the costs of the trip. This is a rare chance for the girls to compete against teams not just from around the UK but around the world.

Layla is going to be doing a 5K swim which is 200 lengths of the pool. This will be in one go not staged over a period of time.

The event will take place on Thursday 18th July between 6pm and 9pm at Ellon pool for anyone who wishes to pop in.

Should Layla raise over her £200 target she is spiltting the remaining money between two chosen charities close to her heart.
