Lazhar Debla is a 34 year old man in need that lives in Algeria whom has a lot of healthcare issues; he had an accident when he was just 17 years old that affected his back and his urinary system. Because of this accident, he could not get out of bed for a substantial amount of time.

Throughout the last 17 years of his life, he has had multiple operations to try and rectify the problems and thankfully he can now walk but, the 36 operations between his back and his urinary system that he has gone through has not been successful and doctors in Algeria can not offer any other treatment.

He was referred to a hospital in France where after the doctors had checked the areas, they told him that he needs an operation to fix the issue but it will cost him €150,000 (equivalent of £132,000), which carries a 100% success rate, if performed as soon as possible; the longer waiting time for this, then the lower chance of success. The problem that he faces is that his urine goes back into his blood which is poisonous; and if he cannot have this operation, he will unfortunately die.
