Story
The Coronavirus pandemic is the greatest global health emergency in recent times. It is affecting every individual around the world, in London and in our neighbourhood.
In these uncertain and troubling times, small acts of kindness can make a significant difference.
For over 20 years, Living Bankside has provided services to, represented and supported in times of crisis the people of Bankside, Borough and SE1. The ongoing and ever-changing situation concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is no exception. Our incredible staff and volunteers from the local community have mobillised to reach people isolated in these uncertain times, to support those caring for us, to ensure our non-contact based services can continue and that we are prepared to continue all our services once the crisis is over.
But it’s the generosity of our supporters and funders that enables our work to happen efficiently and in a sustained manner. We rely on your support to keep us going. With your help, we’ll continue to provide vital humanitarian, individual support for those vulnerable and our other crucial services, now and for the future.
The pandemic has significantly affected our finances and we are having to take steps to reduce our costs . Your donation can help cover basic costs which will be focused on supporting those vulnerable and continuing our other non contact based crucial services.
Without financial support we may have to cease our services both in response to the crisis and our other work in a few months.
We need your support today. Your donation can make a positive difference to many lives now and for the future.
You can also provide in-kind support - please see our dedicated below.
