The Lee Bonsall Memorial Fund needs no introduction to Hell Hounds; I have set myself a personal challenge to raise money for the LBMF to assist those suffering from PTSD (and other local charities chosen by Ken's family).

I have sought and been given permission by Ken and Dan to post this appeal on here so I promise that after my initial efforts through January, I will limit a refresh and update to once a month so as not to get on your nerves.

My ridiculous challenge to myself is a whole year on the wagon and I beg you to motivate me along every single step of that journey through your donations in support. This is going to be a difficult challenge for me because like most of you, I am more than partial to a sup of ale, cider, red wine and well, most things alcoholic really, especially after a hot sweaty mosh pit. This year sees a long FD tour plus Gaz B, Leylines and many, many others that I will be going to in addition to a busy festival schedule. I will really need your support but more importantly, so does the LBMF. So, whilst I drink a brew or pint of water, please consider donating the cost of a pint, or a bucket of rum or whatever. When you're enjoying a drink at home or when out and about, consider missing a drink and donating instead, to LBMF.

At the last count there were 5,845 members on FB's Ferocious Dog group and 1,383 in Hell Hounds. Imagine what you could do if you all donated just £3... the cost of a cheap ale.
