I've raised £1000 to support the Lake District Holocaust Project by Regenesis - The Next Generation

Regenesis is leading a group of 11-14 year olds (and their parents!) as we retrace the footsteps of the Windermere Children by trekking and camping in the Lake District.
The Lake District Holocaust Project (LDHP - which is part of a UK Charity) are continuously working to tell the story of the Windermere Children, and the LDHP historians were behind the BBC docu-drama. It is an inspirational project that shows how 300 young Jewish refugees "came back to life" in the Lakes from August 1945, having been rescued from Terezin and other camps.
Please follow our story online this weekend as we camp/eat in Tipi's and a Sukkah, and trek many of the hikes that the boys did as part of their convalescence.
We want to raise funds for the LDHP so that their peaceful education and storytelling continues and will be undertaking a tough challenge camping and hiking to inspire you.
Similar future events are planned see regenesis.org.uk where you can also see photos of our challenge
