Zambia's Child - Building hope through education.

The goal is to provide quality education for Zambian school children who would not normally be able to attend school and promote long-term self-sufficiency within the community. Zambia is a poverty stricken country where many people are in great need. In Zambia, every mother is likely to lose one child due to preventable causes. The majority of Zambian families have extra children in their care, due to a large number of orphans. Health care and education are very basic, and many people cannot afford even the basics. We see it as a privilege and a blessing to be able to help people with these fundamental needs.

We have committed to walking or running 8,138 kilometres (5,057 miles) throughout May, this is the distance from the United Kingdom to Zambia.
