Bombardier Nadine Dorothy Askew served half of her life in the British army, completing tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Estonia. She was well accomplished and respected both professionally and personally.

Tragically Nadine passed away last year.

Nadine had the biggest most infectious smile. She was the most selfless person I’ve ever met, she would do anything for anyone. It’s with these traits of Nadine I pledge to run 13.1 miles in the great north run to honour her. All funds raised will go to Veterans In Crisis Sunderland to continue Nadine’s legacy in helping others.
