Weʼve raised £620 to replace the roof on our Scout and Guide Hut.

Funded on Saturday, 30th November 2019

    Story

As members of Werrington Scouts since we were 5 we are raising money so that future generations are able to have the experiences that we have as part of scouting.

Currently the Scout Hut roof leaks and needs replacing. Without the Scout Hut, hundreds of children would not have been able to take part in some amazing activities.

To raise some money towards the costs of this we are attempting the 3 Peak Challenge... again. 2 years ago we attempted this challenge and missed out on completing in 24 hours due to a blow out on the M6.

Being rather competitive, we weren't happy with this and so this year we go again. This time we will not be beaten.

Martin (another Scout leader) has already begun fundraising towards this cause by running the Potters 'Arf in June and we would like to add towards the total.

Any donations would be gratefully received.
