    Story

We are trying to raise money to help Leanne and her twins get a new home.

The twins will this year be celebrating their 2nd birthday, but in their short lives, along with their mum, they have already been on a very tough journey!

Leanne gave birth to Kacy and Keira 3 months prematurely, and each weighed a tiny 1lb 6 & 1lb 9! They have both had life threatening complications due to this and as a result, both spent the best part of the first 6 months of their lives in hospital in NICU, where Leanne spent every single minute she could with them.

Thankfully, the twins are now beautiful, happy, healthy children, but still require specialist care and regular visits from healthcare professionals. The twins are both tube fed, and require feeds at regular intervals day and night until they can independently gain and sustain their weight.

Leanne had been living in Hull up until recently due to personal circumstances which meant she has had to move back to Malton, where she has a support network of friends and family around her to give her support as she is now a brilliant, single mum, and the sole, full time carer for her twins.

Since arriving in Malton around a month ago, Leanne along with her twins, has been living in a single bedroom at her fathers house, which as you can imagine, with 2 travel cots and a single bed, is a tight squeeze! Leanne has tried every avenue she can to put a roof over her twins heads, she appealed to the local council whom refused to help her in any way and all local estate agents, but has been refused due to being on DBS, but as a full time carer, cannot be avoided! She has since found a suitable house, but they wanted 6 months rent upfront, a cost which any parent, let alone special care parents, can afford in such a short space of time! She has managed to get this down to 3 months rent upfront, which will be £2000!

So please give what you can, whether it be £1 or £50, every single penny counts and will make a difference to this hardworking, amazing single mum and her beautiful babies!

    Thankyou x
