Learn With Nurses is a Community Interest Company that provides education and sense of community to healthcare professionals across the UK. Established in 2020 from a desire to support colleagues in the healthcare system, we started offering informal, bitesize webinars, re-iterating the basics of numerous long-term conditions to re-enforce knowledge during the initial months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team of experienced nurses and educators have created and delivered 170 webinars to 7,500 HCPs over the past year.

The sessions proved to be extremely popular and the feedback we received was very positive and appreciative. Through our post-event surveys we discovered that not only were we helping to improve peoples knowledge and confidence on the topics covered, we were also having a big influence on their well-being and mental health. The figures below tell some of the story!

While Learn With Nurses was set up with the UK in mind, we have noticed in recent months that we are unwittingly getting more and more interest from other countries. The map below shows just how many countries (in blue) have visited our website! We are keen to reach out to our colleagues across the globe and will be working to do that over the coming months.

We NEED your support !

Right now the biggest need comes from our friends in India, who are having a very challenging time tackling COVID-19. We know our programme of education will be invaluable to them and have reached out to offer our support. We are currently working with organisations such as South Asian Health Action and COVID Crisis Rescue Foundation to make it happen.

While all our webinars are designed and run free of charge by Learn With Nurses and colleagues, we now need to scale up our infrastructure and back-office support systems, which has a cost. We are looking for funding to help us scale up and be able to increase our coverage and bandwidth.
